Tignes and its neighboring resort of Val d’Isere make up the ski area known as the Espace Killy and offers over 300kms of pisted skiing and some of Europe’s most spectacular scenery. Due to the high altitude glacier it’s possible to hit the slopes almost all year round with the lifts only closing for the months of May & September.
Tignes has a free bus service which runs 24 hours a day in the winter, linking the three main areas within the resort (Val Claret, Le Lavachet & Le Lac) so the plentiful supply of bars and restaurants are all within easy reach.
Newly refurbished to a much higher standard than you would usually find in the French Alps and situated next to the lifts, number 10 Le Lac boasts a South facing balcony with spectacular views across the lake and the Grand Motte glacier. There are plenty of shops within the apartment complex, including a well stocked supermarket, a patisserie & a pharmacy along with several bars and restaurants.
The apartment is available to rent all year & is an ideal base for Summer & Winter activities.
