WHO WE ARE

We bought No. 10 LAC in February 2006 after falling in love with the amazing views from the balcony. When we took possession back then the apartment had been rented out by an agency for several years and was very basic. We saw through that and proceeded to renovate everything apart from the kitchen. Oak flooring, a new bathroom and new furniture transformed the apartment completely. Windows were replaced in 2014 & the kitchen has just been replaced in the summer of 2016.

We usually get out to Tignes at least once during the winter (if rentals allow) and then again in the summer for the annual Fête des Vins (wine festival).

If you have any questions about our apartment, Tignes, or any of the activities available to you during your stay, please don't hesitate to get in touch and we'll do our best to help.

TIGNES

Tignes is a world renowned, all season, extreme sport resort which is made up of several areas - Val Claret, Le Lac, Lavachet, Tignes 1800 & Les Brevieres. With the exception of Les Breviers, all are linked by a free bus service which operates 24 hours a day during the winter season.

Tignes and it's neighbour Val d'Isere are connected and together they make up the Espace Killy which boasts 300km of pistes along with limitless opportunities for those wanting to venture off piste. Ski lifts have been constantly updated to offer fast access to the mountains and with minimal queueing times.

There are two nursery slopes in Tignes, one in Le Lac which is a two minute walk from the apartment & one in Val Claret which can be accessed using the free bus service. The closest bus stop to the apartment is a short walk away, just outside the TignesSpace building.

Once you are confident, you'll have access to 22 green runs, 61 blues, 46 reds & 25 blacks. There is a terrain park in Tignes and another, just over the Toviere mountain in Val d'Issere.
